Hallsville Man Wins $71,000 Playing Show Me Cash

A 61-year-old Hallsville man is $71,000 richer after playing the Missouri Lottery’s Show Me Cash game.  Jerry Wilcox said he plays his same numbers every day. The numbers – 4, 13, 21, 26 and 39 – are a combination of his two son’s ages, his grandson’s age and a special date.

Wilcox said he plans to use the money to pay off some debt.

“I’m thinking about maybe buying a new truck,” he said.

Wilcox bought his winning ticket at Ketchum’s General Store on Route B in Hallsville, where he works as a clerk.

Show Me Cash offers a rolling jackpot starting at $50,000, which increases by at least $5,000 at each drawing. Wilcox was the 212th Show Me Cash jackpot winner since sales began in 2008. To date, more than $34 million has been awarded in jackpot prizes in the game.
