Official Promotion Rules

1. An entry consists of one Missouri Lottery game number 872, $5 St. Louis Cardinals™ Scratchers ticket in one envelope or Web submission.  Each entry is eligible for one drawing.
   
   
2. Entries may be submitted by mail, through the Missouri Lottery’s Web site or by depositing the entry in the promotion receptacle at a Missouri Lottery regional office located in St. Louis, Kansas City and Springfield or at headquarters in Jefferson City.   In order to submit a promotional entry through molottery.com, a player must have a current registered My Lottery account.
   
   
3. Each separate entry submitted by mail or by depositing at a Missouri Lottery office must be in an envelope no larger than 11 inches x 6 inches.  Only one entry per envelope will be accepted.
   
   
4. Entries must be received at the address listed below, at Missouri Lottery headquarters in Jefferson City or any of the Missouri Lottery regional offices in St. Louis, Kansas City or Springfield by 5 p.m. on the deadline dates to be eligible for the next drawing. The Missouri Lottery and the MLB Entities (defined below) are is not responsible for entries received after the deadlines or entries mailed to any address other than the address listed below.  Players may enter as often as they wish.

5. Entries submitted through the Missouri Lottery’s website at www.molottery.com must be entered by 5 p.m. Central Time on the entry deadline dates.  Duplicate entries of the same ticket will not be accepted.   Promotion entries cannot be edited after they have been accepted.
   
   
6. Only entries received by the appropriate entry deadline date (as listed below) will be eligible for that drawing. Entries received after the entry deadline date for drawings 1 and 2 will be eligible for the next scheduled drawing.  Entries received after the entry deadline date for drawing 3 will be deemed ineligible for that drawing and will be destroyed.  AN ENTRY IS ONLY ELIGIBLE FOR ONE DRAWING AND CANNOT BE RE-ENTERED FOR ADDITIONAL DRAWINGS IN THIS PROMOTION. 

7. All valid entries received at the promotional address listed in rule #4, through www.molottery.com and those received at Lottery offices by the listed entry deadline dates will be eligible for a chance to win the following prizes:

   Grand Prize (1 prize per drawing; 3 prizes total)
   St Louis Cardinals® 2013 Regular Season Home Game Tickets.  One St. Louis Cardinals® season tickets package includes two tickets in the 1st or 3rd base field box seating area for the 2013 regular season, one full-season parking pass, $1,000 worth of Cardinals® cash for in-game concession or team store spending and two Cardinals® officially licensed by MLB Properties merchandise prize packs. The Missouri Lottery will pay standard federal and state withholding taxes for the prize based on the total prize value.  The winner will be responsible for any additional applicable taxes. 

   First Prize (1 prize per drawing; 3 prizes total)
   2013 MLB® All-Star Game® Trip Package.  One MLB® All-Star Game® Trip package is defined as a 5-day/4-night trip.  Includes two tickets for the 2013 MLB® All-Star Game® and other All-Star Week® festivities, hotel accommodations for two (one-room) for four nights, coach airfare for two, ground transfers to and from the destination airport, $1,000 spending money and two Cardinals® officially licensed by MLB Properties merchandise prize packs. The Missouri Lottery will pay standard federal and state withholding taxes for the prize based on the total prize value.  The winner will be responsible for any additional applicable taxes. 

   Second Prize (1 prize per drawing; 3 prizes total)
   2012 or 2013 Busch Stadium™ Party Room Suite Package.  One party room suite package includes 40 tickets to a private party room suite at Busch Stadium™ for one regular season St. Louis Cardinals® home game, catered food/beverages and one Cardinals® officially licensed by MLB Properties merchandise prize pack.  Winners will have the option of receiving this prize during the remaining 2012 season or the 2013 season pending availability.  Winner will also receive $500 in Cardinals® cash for in-game concession or team store spending.  The Missouri Lottery will pay standard federal and state withholding taxes for the prize based on the total prize value.  The winner will be responsible for any additional applicable taxes. 

   Third Prize (1 prize per drawing; 3 prizes total)
   2012 or 2013 Cardinals® Regular Season Road Game Trip Package.  One Cardinals® road trip package is defined as a 4-day/3-night trip.  Includes four tickets for two Cardinals® regular season away games (two tickets for two games = four tickets total) to be played during the same road trip dates, hotel accommodations for two (one room) for three nights, coach airfare for two, ground transfers to and from the destination airport, $500 spending money and two Cardinals® officially licensed by MLB Properties merchandise prize packs.  Winners will have the option of receiving this prize during the remaining 2012 season or the 2013 season pending availability.  The Missouri Lottery will pay standard federal and state withholding taxes for the prize based on the total prize value.  The winner will be responsible for any additional applicable taxes.

   Fourth Prize (1 prize per drawing; 3 prizes total)
   2012 or 2013 VIP Experiences at Busch Stadium™.  One Cardinals® VIP experience package includes two tickets for one Cardinals® regular season game, dinner for two in the Champions Club, two Batting Practice field passes, hotel accommodations for two (one room / one night), $200 in Cardinals® cash and two Cardinals®  officially licensed by MLB Properties merchandise prize packs.  Winners will have the option of receiving this prize during the remaining 2012 season or the 2013 season pending availability.  The Missouri Lottery will pay standard federal and state withholding taxes for the grand prize based on the total prize value.  The winner will be responsible for any additional applicable taxes.

   Fifth Prize (100 prizes per drawing; 300 prizes total)
   St. Louis Cardinals® officially licensed by MLB Properties Merchandise Prize Pack.  Each prize pack contains one duffel bag, one flag, one adjustable cap, one jacket, one polo shirt and one Replica jersey.  

   **There is no cash value option available for any of the prizes won in this promotion.
    
   Major League Baseball game, event and exhibition dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball and/or the St. Louis Cardinals, as applicable, and may be subject to change.  The terms and conditions of the tickets awarded as prizes may govern in the event a legal game, event or exhibition, as defined by Major League Baseball, is not played due to weather, an act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance or any other reason.  Each Winner and his/her guest(s) agree to comply with all applicable ballpark regulations in connection with the Prize.  Sponsor and the applicable MLB Entities reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to any Winner and/or his/her guest(s) who engage(s) in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the game, event or exhibition.  The MLB Entities will not be responsible for Acts of God, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage or any other natural disaster outside their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of any Major League Baseball game, event or exhibition.  The “MLB Entities” shall mean the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P., Major League Baseball Enterprises, Inc., Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., the Major League Baseball Clubs, Tickets.com, Inc., SportsOnEarth, LLC and each of their respective subsidiaries or affiliated entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Major League Baseball Clubs or the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, and the directors, officers, employees and agents of the above entities.
   
   Major League Baseball game, event and exhibition tickets awarded as prizes may not be resold or offered for resale. Any such resale may result in disqualification and prize forfeiture, and may invalidate the license granted by the game ticket(s).

8. Entries that are mailed to the stated address in #4 or hand-delivered to a Lottery office that are not placed in an envelope are ineligible as indicated in #3 and will be disqualified.  Players must provide their own envelope.  Missouri Lottery employees will not provide envelopes for entries being deposited at the regional offices or headquarters.
   
   
9. The player’s complete name and address must be clearly provided on the back of the ticket used for entry and/or the entry envelope, or on the entry filled out at www.molottery.com, so that the owners of winning entries can be identified and contacted.  Incomplete or illegible entries may be disqualified.  Entries with address stamps or stickers are acceptable, but must include the player’s complete name and address. 
   
   
10. Entries submitted must include necessary personal information, such as complete name and address that can be attributed solely to the person entering the promotion.  Player’s personal information must be clearly provided on the back of at least one of the tickets used for entry and/or the entry envelope, or on the entry filled out at www.molottery.com, so that the owners of winning entries can be identified and contacted.  Entries with address stamps or stickers are acceptable, but must include the player’s complete name and address.  If it is found that the name or other personal information associated with an entry cannot be attributed to the person submitting the entry, information is ineligible or incomplete, it may be disqualified. 
    
    
11. If more than one person’s name appears on the ticket drawn as a winner, the first name listed will be deemed the owner of the entry.  If an entry with the same player information (to include the same two names listed in the same order) is drawn again, it will be declared a duplicate and therefore, invalid.
    
    
12. Player signatures are not required on entries.
    
    
13. A player is eligible to win only once in each drawing and may win only one each of the Grand, First, Second Third and Fourth prizes throughout the duration of the “Win with the Cardinals™” promotion.
    
    
14. The prize winner will be notified via email and postal mail of their prize after all verification has taken place and may be required to complete a promotional claim form, as well as furnish their Social Security number to the Missouri Lottery.  The Missouri Lottery has the right to release prize winner information to various media sources and list winners’ names and pictures on www.molottery.com.  Winners will have their information shared with MDI Entertainment, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Scientific Games, in order for prize arrangements to be made and fulfilled.
    
    
15. The Missouri Lottery, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason.  Additional restrictions and conditions, if any, specific to a particular prize will be disclosed to winners upon prize notification.
    
    
16. The prizes pictured in game/promotional materials are for illustrative purposes only.
    
    
17. All entries remaining after each drawing will be void and ineligible for entry into any other promotion conducted by the Missouri Lottery and will be destroyed by the Missouri Lottery.
    
    
18. Only persons 18 years of age or older are eligible to enter.  Winners may be required to furnish proof of age.
    
    
19. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of entries received for each drawing.
    
    
20. Any additional local, state, federal or other taxes, expenses or surcharges associated with the prizes not mentioned in these rules are the responsibility of the winner.
    
    
21. The Missouri Lottery, the MLB Entities and each of their respective agencies are not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry, winner or other contest information by sponsors or entrants for any reason whatsoever. The Missouri Lottery and the MLB Entities are is not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in this promotion contest or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete. All entries become the sole property of Missouri Lottery and will not be returned. [CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE MISSOURI LOTTERY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE PROMOTION IF IT BECOMES TECHNICALLY CORRUPTED.]
    
    
22. No other tickets or entries are eligible for this promotion, including non-winning Scratchers tickets from games not listed as eligible for entry, non-winning Scratchers tickets from games previously entered in another Missouri Lottery promotion, Pick 3, Pick 4, Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto, Club Keno, or Show Me Cash tickets, sample-void tickets, altered or stolen tickets, postcards, any canceled or returned tickets, previously cashed tickets or any likeness of an authentic ticket.
    
    
23. The Missouri Lottery and the MLB Entities are not responsible for any non-promotional mail inadvertently sent to the promotional address.
    
    
24. The Missouri Lottery and the MLB Entities are not responsible for promotional mail inadvertently sent to an address other than that listed in rule #4.
    
    
25. The Missouri Lottery and the MLB Entities are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, altered, illegible or postage-due mail. 
    
    
26. The Missouri Lottery makes no express or implied warranties of any kind with respect to the safety, appearance or performance of any prize offered. 
    
    
27. In the event of a dispute arising out of these rules and procedures, a player’s sole remedy is limited to entry into another promotional drawing or event with prizes of a similar value.
    
    
28. Each person entering this promotion agrees by the act of participation to be bound by these rules and procedures, statutes, administrative rules and procedures of the Missouri Lottery.
    
    
29. These rules may be modified at any time at the sole discretion of the Missouri Lottery.
